“Doc Li” is a New Jersey native, growing up in Roselle, New Jersey. Aaliyah is a certified Kinesio-tape practitioner and has also studied Pilates, myofascial release techniques, the McKenzie Method, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques among others. Always interested in furthering her education for the betterment of her patients, Aaliyah is also working towards attaining her CSCS.
Her passion for physical therapy runs deep, and she believes the right postural alignment, muscle balance, and will to improve enables her patients to get back in the game, be it athletics or life in general. Aaliyah incorporates manual therapy and body Contrology into her treatments to best serve her patients and deliver a total body experience.
Aaliyah attained her Bachelor’s Degree from Kean University and completed her graduate education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Aaliyah is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
When she is not in the clinic, Aaliyah enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends always seeking new adventures through travel both locally and internationally. Aaliyah is also a huge football fan; you can find her rooting for the KC Chiefs every Sunday.
